MY JOURNEY TO SKIN
My career began when I was 17, training in beauty therapy before progressing through my qualifications and gaining experience within both spa and salon environments.
In 2013, I took the step of starting my own business. What began in traditional beauty naturally evolved over the years, and in 2020 I purchased and completely renovated the salon that is now home to Heini’s Beautique.
As my career developed, skin became the area I was increasingly drawn to. I wanted to understand more than what I could simply see on the surface — I wanted to understand why changes were happening within the skin, how its functions could be supported and how I could achieve meaningful, longer-lasting results for my clients.
A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF SKIN
That journey led me to DMK.
The science, education and philosophy behind DMK completely changed the way I approached skin. Rather than focusing solely on individual concerns or temporary results, I began looking at the skin as a whole and developing a much deeper understanding of its structure and function.
I continued my advanced DMK education and became a DMK MD Technician, allowing me to take a more advanced and considered approach to skin revision.
Today, I work with clients experiencing concerns including acne, pigmentation, ageing, rosacea and scarring, as well as those who simply want to improve the overall health, strength and appearance of their skin.
PERSONALISED, ADVANCED TREATMENT
No two skins are the same, which is why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach.
Every skin journey begins by looking at your skin, its history, its current needs and what you would like to achieve. From there, I can recommend the treatments, homecare and approach I feel are most appropriate for you.
Alongside my DMK work, I am a Hydrafacial Specialist and offer advanced treatments including DMK Enzyme Therapy, Alkaline Wash, professional peels and microneedling. Treatments can be used individually or incorporated into a longer-term skin programme depending on your needs and goals.
ALWAYS LEARNING
Education remains a huge part of what I do. Skin science and technology continue to develop, and I believe my knowledge should develop with them.
I continue to invest in advanced education, training, techniques and technology so that what I can offer my clients continues to evolve.
For me, great skin isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about understanding your skin, working with it consistently and making considered choices that create meaningful change.
